Container Relocations helped the owners of Earnscleugh Castle near Clyde store their belongings on-site throughout a major heritage restoration.
Big renovation projects come with big logistics challenges. When Marco Creemers and Ryan Sanders took on the restoration of Earnscleugh Castle near Clyde in Central Otago, one of New Zealand’s most remarkable heritage properties, they needed a practical way to move the contents of their Auckland home and store everything safely while the work was underway.
Container Transport packed and loaded the Auckland property into two shipping containers, which were transported south and delivered directly to the Earnscleugh Castle site. The containers served as secure, weatherproof on-site storage throughout the restoration. Everything stayed in one place, protected and accessible, with no additional handling, no offsite storage facility, and no unnecessary moves.
It is a great example of how container transport and storage can be adapted to projects that do not follow a standard moving timeline. Whether your renovation runs for months or years, having your belongings close by and accessible whenever you need them makes the whole process considerably less complicated.
Congratulations to Marco and Ryan on an extraordinary project. The transformation of Earnscleugh Castle is truly something special.
